ESMORGA FOLK

The Esmorga Folk born in 1989 with the objective of protecting and disseminating galician traditional music, that with the time passing it was beginin to get deteriorated and forgotten. This festival, one of the oldest of Galicia, got consolidated thanks to the effort of the organization to bring , each year, famous bands from all over the world.

Roda, Fiandola, Leilía, Mercedes Peón, Carlos Núñez, Kepa Junquera or foreigners bands like Koun, Vladimir & Serguev or Dhais are some of the bands that play in the Esmorga. Important to say is that the Tanxugueiras premiered in this festival, thanks to our desire to discover new talents.

BANDEIROCK

The Bandeirock fetival begins in 2002, when a group of friends decide to put some rock in the summer celebrations of the town.In this two decades, bands like a Che Sudaka, NAO, Calle del Ruido, Mojo Experience, Os John Deeres, Salavelatoria, The Ron Jeremy Band came to play in Bandeira

In addition to its clear support for local rock bands, the Bandeirock has a clear solidarity component, collaborating each year with hundreds of kilograms of food to the Social Services of the Council of Silleda destinated to help those most in need.
